Mikio Watanabe (Jap. � 1954 - ) La Lune � Mezzotint, 1994, 73/4 x 7 5/8, ed. 30, signed, titled and numbered in pencil. This piece is in excellent condition.

Watanabe was born in 1954 in Yokohama, Japan. After completing his studies in Tokyo he ventured from Yokohama harbour in 1977, to Paris. From 1979 to 1981, he studied engraving techniques with S. W. Hayter at the Atelier 17, Paris. Since 1981, he has dedicated his work to mezzotint.
